Building bridges to secure future food supply

We were delighted to welcome the Saudi delegation at the Saudi Arabia–Denmark Business Forum, organized by Danish Industry in Copenhagen this week.

Our Director of Commercial Development and Strategic Partnerships, Barbara Taudorf Andersen, shared how 21st.BIO’s precision fermentation technology empowers companies across the globe to produce essential milk proteins efficiently and at scale, independent of seasons, herds, or geography.

As global demand for high-quality proteins keeps rising and milk production faces natural limits, our technology offers a path to secure, sustainable, and scalable nutrition, from Europe to the Americas, Asia, the Middle East and beyond.

By using microorganisms instead of cows, precision fermentation enables a stable and traceable protein supply, sharply reduces water and land use, and ensures consistent quality and functionality in every batch. We are proud to help customers throughout the world establish safe, resilient, large-scale food production using our technology.

The dialogue at the Business Forum reflected these priorities, with innovation and collaboration taking center stage in shaping the future of food production.

A special thanks to Mr. Majed Al-Hokair, Chairman of the Saudi Danish Business Council, for leading the delegation and inspiring discussions on innovation, sustainability, and food security.

Thank you to Danish Industry and Søren Falck for bringing together such an insightful exchange on technology and collaboration.
